The objective of celebrating National Anaesthesia Day (NAD) is to promote Anaesthesiology as well as the theme of the Anaesthesia Day for the respective year to the public at large. In conjunction with the celebration, The Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists (MSA) is proud to provide a grant to all hospitals that intend to organise activities to celebrate the NAD in conjunction with the World Anaesthesia Day which falls on the 16th October every year. The grant has a maximum value of RM500 and is to be used for the organisation of NAD celebrations.

Those who wish to apply for the grant, kindly fill up the form below. This is to ensure the report of the event can be published in the subsequent Berita Anestesiologi edition. In addition, this is also to safeguard the grant will be paid in due time to the respective applicants. Below are the details of the grant: 

1. The activities should be organised at the Hospital level celebrating NAD in the month of October until 15th November. Kindly insert NAD, MSA and CoA logos in all promotional materials.
2. Application form for the RM500 grant has to be submitted latest by the 31st August.
3. Applicants would receive a confirmation email from the MSA Executive Committee by 15th September along with a template for article submission. 
4. Applicants should submit an original written report on the NAD celebration (one A4 page) within two weeks of the activities, which will be published in the next issue of the Berita Anestesiologi. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in articles are highly discouraged and may be rejected. (Please refer to Appendix 1 below) 
5. Applicants shall provide the bank account of the department/ hospital which held the NAD celebration to receive the grant. If this account is not available, applicants would obtain a letter from their head of anaesthesiology department nominating the person who will receive the grant. 
6. The grant will be deposited in the bank account when the article is published in Berita Anestesiologi.

Those who wish to celebrate outside the stipulated months can still submit the written report to be published in the Berita Anestesiologi.
